Door Replacement
A homeowner in Purchase was struggling with an outdated, drafty door. The door had visible wear and tear, along with gaps that allowed cold air to enter, making the home less comfortable. Seeking a solution to improve both functionality and aesthetics, they contacted Prestige Window Works for a professional door replacement.
The project began with a detailed assessment of the door’s structure and frame. The Prestige Window Works team verified the integrity of the existing frame to ensure it could support a new door. After determining the frame was suitable, they carefully removed the old door, clearing the area and taking precise measurements for a perfect replacement fit.
Prestige Window Works provided the homeowner with a high-quality, insulated door tailored to their home in Purchase. This door was chosen not only for its durability and insulation properties but also for its modern design, which enhanced the home’s curb appeal. The door was custom-fitted to eliminate drafts and maximize energy efficiency.
During installation, the new door was expertly aligned within the frame, with a weather-resistant sealant applied around the edges to prevent air leaks and moisture intrusion. This sealant was essential for ensuring the door’s longevity and maintaining a secure barrier against the elements in Purchase’s variable climate.
Once installed, Prestige Window Works conducted a thorough inspection to ensure the door was properly sealed and securely fitted. The homeowner was delighted with the new door, which provided enhanced security, insulation, and an updated look that brought new life to their home.
